Home Learning 

Reading:

Please read with your child regularly and ask them questions about the characters and the plot. Can they predict what will happen? How is the character feeling? Why do they think that? Can they work out the meaning of unfamiliar words by using the context? 

Spellings:

Here are the words that the children need to be able to spell by the end of Year 4.

Each week 3 or 4 will be added to their spelling list for them to learn. We will revisit them regularly. 

Put the spellings up around the house so they see them each day.

 

Mental Maths:

Keep practising your timetables using Timetable Rockstars. You should know all your timetables by the end of the year. Click below to access the website.
