Serving Our Community

At St Stephen's C of E Primary School, fundraising is an important part of our Christian vision and values. Through acts of generosity and service, our pupils learn that even small actions can make a big difference to the lives of others.

Throughout the year, we support a range of local, national and international charities, encouraging our children to develop our value of kindness and a sense of responsibility for the wider world.

Our Recent Fundraising 2025 -2026

Save the Children is a global charity that works to ensure every child has the opportunity to grow up healthy, safe and able to learn. The charity provides emergency support during crises, helps children access education and healthcare, protects vulnerable children and works with communities around the world to give every child the best possible start in life.

Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day 2025-2026

Pupils and staff came together wearing their favourite Christmas jumpers in support of Save the Children.

Amount raised: £125.52

Naomi's Village is a Christian organisation based in Kenya's Great Rift Valley that provides a safe and loving home for children in need. Alongside its children's home, the charity supports early years education, a primary and secondary school, community programmes and family support initiatives, helping children and families flourish through education, healthcare and compassionate care.

As part of our Harvest celebrations, our school community donated food and essential items to support Naomi's Village in Kenya.

Book Aid International is a UK charity that believes everyone should have the opportunity to read. Working with partners around the world, the charity provides brand new books to schools, libraries and communities, helping children and adults develop a love of reading, improve literacy and access educational opportunities.

Book Aid International - World Book Day  2025-2026

Children and staff dressed as their favourite book characters to celebrate a love of reading while raising money for Book Aid International.

Red Nose Day is organised by Comic Relief, a UK charity that works to tackle poverty and injustice. Money raised helps provide food, shelter, education, healthcare and mental health support for children, families and communities in the UK and around the world.

The whole school came together to support Comic Relief's Red Nose Day, raising funds to help people facing poverty and hardship both in the UK and internationally.
