Weekly Update 27.4.20

Weekly update

Dear Parents,

We are now in week 6 of Lockdown. It really has been 6 weeks of children not attending normal school (including the 2 weeks for Easter break!). I do hope you are all well and managing.

Work for this week is now on the website under “Children” then “Class Pages”. If you are experiencing any issues, please email the school to arrange the collection of work.

I have attached the following to help you:

  • A learning from home timetable
  • 7 Top Tips for reading from home.

Collective Worship

We are continuing our theme of prayer this week.

It is good to give thanks to God, even in the hard times!

The children of Israel spent 40 years wandering in the wilderness because they kept on moaning, rather than seeing all the good things God had provided for them. Have a think about all those things we can be thankful to God for at this moment like family, our homes and food to eat. Look around outside and see the beauty of nature!

Maybe you could write a prayer of thanks and send it to me via your class email.

A song we sing in school is “10,000 reasons”. It talks about singing our thanks to God for He is good.

“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Have a good week.
